Before 18 years we (from work) ate every week in Demetri's. This week I was near the restaurant and decided to take lunch again. Food is still amazing, the price is reasonable and service is very good. I recommended it to a friend of mine He asked me for the place and after I told him he cannot believe that it is cheap compared with other restaurants. Actually the front of the restaurant a parking is full.
Great Greek spit in Deerfield. Classic Greek family restaurant, blasting Greek music throughout. Hummus was great, a chunkier version, but solid. The chicken chunk salad was also fantastic. The dressing, chunks of chicken, pita, and feta were fabulous. Would highly recommend in Deerfield!
Great fun place to eat. But can be busy. Reservation recommended for Dinner. If Available ask for Nicolas. Food and drinks are awesome. Recommend the Salmon Mediterranean style, Grilled Calamari, House salad. Billy, George and Alex are the owners after the matriarch of the family, Sam passed in 2024.
Consistently excellent service, delicious food, attractive decor. It’s quite popular (for good reason!) and therefore busy, so make a reservation if you have a larger group as we did. Lots of traditional Greek dishes, including excellent seafood and lamb. My kids particularly love the fish tank in the lobby, which has some cool tropical fish. There’s a kids menu and they have plastic cups with tops and a straw available if you have little ones. We had 3 generations with us and everyone enjoyed themselves!

Been coming for years. The food is Greek and the Menu speaks for itself. They begin with a nice warm loaf of sesame bread with crisp crust. Lemon soup is delish. Souvlaki is great. Gyro is the bomb . Bring yourself over to this suburban favorite.
Fantastic restaurant! Clean and food is very authentic. Pay no attention to any recent negative reviews the last week or so as those are from people with fake reviews because of politics. Sad they destroy people’s livelihoods when you don’t agree. Please support this tasty establishment!
Great place to dine with family, or grab a quick lunch or take out! I ordered door dash and I was 11 minutes away, when I arrived a nice gentleman offered to help. I explained it was a pick up order and he went back in the kitchen and brought it out within minutes. The smell almost had me ready to open it up right then but I made it back to my room to dig in. The food was hot and delicious! The host must have heard my raspy voice and put a complementary bowl of Avgolemono soup in the bag, thank you so much it was lemony and packed with flavor, just what my inflamed throat needed THANK YOU! The entire meal was amazing but the customer service was what I truly am grateful for.
